(A work in progress… reputable holistic resources are added as I find them, or when a light-bulb goes off, as in, “Geez, why don’t I have this one listed?”)
“Scientific explanations are a metaphor for the outer dimension of the relationship, and magical explanations are a metaphor for the inner dimensions. The science metaphors impress upon us that matter matters, and the occult metaphors impress upon us that all matter is ensouled.” ~Robert Sardello
“Private Dowding, A Plain Record of the After-Death Experiences of a Soldier” (actually a short book, 27 pages; I highly recommend this)
Hemp Oil: the Real Medicine, many good points made here; I believe it is important to get as much information as possible before making a decision, especially one that affects our own or a loved one’s health.
The Universe is a Hologram – per a new study of which the findings “are an interesting way to test many ideas in quantum gravity and string theory”. Our world is a “shadow of the real world.” Soooo interesting!!
It’s Not Fibromyalgia – one woman’s journey, before and after finding a doctor with an answer.
DIY Holistic Resources:
Cure Zone – their tagline is “Educating Instead of Medicating”; lots of great information by people who have actually done the searching and tried the protocols.
Educate Yourself – their tagline is “The Freedom of Knowledge, The Power of Thought”; LOTS of information on here, on health, history, politics. Note, some of it is pretty “out there”, so do your due diligence.

Technology is not always our friend. In the case of smart meters (how utilities monitor your usage remotely), definitely not. Learn more at Smartgrid Awareness.
Animal Communication – We all love our pets and do everything in our power to care for them. Sometimes, however, a problem arises that we just can’t seem to figure out. Wouldn’t it be great to speak with them in their language? While I do communicate with animals, it is not a focus nor something I offer per se. For Valerie Popp, however, this is her passion, and she is who I turn to when I have problems with my own pets and too emotionally attached to get clear answers on my own. Contact her at ValerieCatherinePets@gmail.com.
Doulas – I’d almost be willing to have another baby to have the doula experience. While I know none of these women, they were recommended by someone in the field. Deb Lawrence – Debbie Lillig – Maura Frauenhofer – Nicki Worden – Robin Ross
ABC Homeopathy – Complete catalog (many sites that sell homeopathics only have the “popular” ones) plus basic information and a forum.
Ambit Energy – Lower gas and electric rates, travel points, PLUS, once 15 others join through you, you receive a monthly credit (equaling the average of their bills) toward your bill!!! Check it out.
Hanna’s Herb Shop – “Hanna’s Herb Shop is one of the nation’s first health food stores. Since 1957, Hanna’s has become recognized around the world for helping people.”
MoltoSanna – Ok, nothing to do with holistic health, but these are so precious, you will want to gift them to everyone you know. Yes, Sanna is my sister, but still…
Orgonite – I do believe I make some good stuff! These devices raise the energy of whatever they are near, and continually emit electrons, without which one cannot heal. See my orgonite page for more info.
Spirulina – a whole food, I can tell when I skip more than a day or two, I just don’t feel as with it – RBC Life grows the best there is. You can go to their website, or call 800.350.9497, and please consider using distributor #12255; this is the couple mentioned in my Speaking of Death post.
Vitacost – When I am actually organized and order supplements, hygiene products, etc., I order from here. They carry almost everything I use and at decent, sometimes amazing, prices. Free shipping on orders over $49 (which mine usually are); use this link and receive $10 off your first order!
432 v. 440 HZ information, very interesting. I especially loved the video, you have to scroll down to it, on cymatic experiments.
More on 432 Hz tuning
Am I going to die? A wonderful TED talk by an EMT who has chosen to tell the truth, providing peace in the process.
Bill Hicks – It’s Just a Ride (there are a lot of videos of him at this link, all worth the time; thanks to Kathy W. for telling me about him)
Brene Brown, The Power of Vulnerability – not necessarily metaphysical, but certainly about being human.
Cymatics – music by Nigel Stanford. “Cymatics (from Greek: κῦμα “wave”) is the study of visible sound co vibration, a subset of modal phenomena. Typically the surface of a plate, diaphragm, or membrane is vibrated, and regions of maximum and minimum displacement are made visible in a thin coating of particles, paste, or liquid. Different patterns emerge in the excitatory medium depending on the geometry of the plate and the driving frequency.” – Wikipedia
Dan Aykroyd’s Crystal Head Vodka – who knew he was into all things metaphysical?
Double Slit Experiment (I’m rather thankful for the video as just reading about it, I couldn’t quite wrap my brain around it)
The Fibonacci Sequence, note there are links to many more videos on the topic at this link
The Happy Secret to Better Work, and life, IMO! Psychologist Shawn Achor “argues that actually happiness inspires productivity.” A short twelve minutes, with a very engaging speaker.
I Am – “Director Tom Shadyac speaks with intellectual and spiritual leaders about what’s wrong with our world and how we can improve both it and the way we live in it.” ~imdb.com – This was WAY better than I expected, and at only an hour and fifteen minutes easy to squeeze in to your schedule. Note: the link takes you to the official page; to watch the video, buy it, or see it on Netflix.
Is Our Universe the Only Universe? “Not only are we not alone in our universe, but our UNIVERSE isn’t alone in the MULTIVERSE!? So not only are we not alone, we’re basically in the middle of a huge intergalactic rave!?”
Jill Bolte Taylor – Humble, humorous and scientific narration of her near death experience.
Laniakea: Our home supercluster – “Superclusters – regions of space that are densely packed with galaxies – are the biggest structures in the Universe. But scientists have struggled to define exactly where one supercluster ends and another begins. Now, a team based in Hawaii has come up with a new technique that maps the Universe according to the flow of galaxies across space. Redrawing the boundaries of the cosmic map, they redefine our home supercluster and name it Laniakea, which means ‘immeasurable heaven’ in Hawaiian.”
Mystical Astronauts, put out by Overview Effect Institute; interesting viewpoint by astronauts – who knew they were mystics, too?
Parallel Universe – Michio Kaku
Sacred Knowledge of Vibration, by Gregg Braden, for anyone unclear on the reason high vibration is “better”.

Something Unknown is Doing We Don’t Know What, “a quirky feature documentary on the science behind psychic phenomena” ~imdb.com
Soul Pancake – Rainn Wilson interviews Deepak Chopra – Hysterical!
Squeezed by Life’s Pressures – a podcast I stumbled upon – a motivational talk by Joni Eareckson Tada about the common strand of our lives; as she is quadriplegic, she knows from what she speaks – quite the woman!
Still the Mind – Alan Watts. For all of us trying to minimize mind chatter. Lots from him on youtube.
Thrive, What on Earth Will It Take? – a documentary put out by a member of the Gamble family, a wonderful overview of the current state of our world.
Top 20+ Mind-Expanding Movies – a list compiled by Mind Power News – how many have you seen?
What Dreams May Come – from 1998, was reminded of it recently so watched it again, and am thrilled at the analogies which resonate based on the conversations I have had with those on the other side. Worth a re-watch! In light of Robin Williams’ suicide, and his role in this movie of him searching for his wife who committed suicide, also due to depression, very poignant. Available on Netflix, perhaps Blockbuster, other sources…
What’s Good for You (a man experiencing childbirth) – ok, so not your typical metaphysical fair, but I found it fascinating. Science is now able to replicate childbirth providing men an opportunity of experiencing what women go through – makes for some cross-gender understanding – ALWAYS a good thing in our ever-evolving world.
If you’re like me, and your head starts spinning when faced with technical internet problems, you will want to keep this guy in mind: Kevin Moriarity. He helped me figure out some things, did it calmly, and didn’t make me feel like an idiot (because, yes, I asked idiotic questions).
